In a pan add oil, to that mustard seeds. When the seeds splutters add onion and curry leaves.
When onions turn translucent add garlic followed by tomatoes and green chilies.
When the tomatoes turn mushy add Asafoetida, turmeric powder, salt.
Mix horse gram flour in little water and add to the pan.
Add 1 cup water and let it simmer till the horse gram is cooked and the curry thickens.
Add chopped coriander leaves, lime juice and turn off the flame. Serve hot with rice or like a soup.
